Terms & Conditions

Welcome to BOQ Estimations. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our construction estimating and quantity takeoff services. By engaging with us, you agree to the terms below.

Service Agreement

  • BOQ Estimations provides professional cost estimating, quantity takeoff, and BOQ preparation services for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
  • Turnaround times typically range from 2 to 4 business days depending on the complexity and scope of the project. An expected delivery date is confirmed after quote approval and payment.
  • Changes to the project scope after work has commenced may result in revised delivery dates and/or additional charges.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in full before any work begins. After reviewing your plans, we will issue a formal quote and invoice.
  • Payments are accepted through secure channels, including QuickBooks Online Payments, PayPal, and all major credit and debit cards.
  • No work will commence until payment has been confirmed.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel after a project has been initiated, a 50% refund will be issued.
  • Once work is substantially underway, no refunds are available, as resources are allocated and work begins immediately upon confirmation.
  • Amendments to project plans during the engagement may incur additional charges depending on the scope of the changes.

Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

  • All client plans, project details, and company information are handled with strict confidentiality.
  • BOQ Estimations will never share, reuse, or resell your estimates or project details to any third party.
  • We are happy to sign a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request.

Estimate Accuracy

  • Our estimates are typically accurate to within 97% when full documentation is provided.
  • Estimates are prepared using real-time data, including regional material and labor costs, and reflect current industry standards.
  • Due to market price fluctuations, estimates are provided for guidance only and do not constitute a fixed or guaranteed price.

Incomplete or Preliminary Drawings

  • We can work from schematic, conceptual, or partially developed drawings, with all assumptions and exclusions clearly noted in the deliverable.
  • Preliminary estimates are suitable for budgeting and early-stage planning — they should not be treated as final bid figures.

Intellectual Property

  • All deliverables provided by BOQ Estimations are licensed for use solely by the client named on the invoice.
  • Estimates, designs, and takeoffs remain the intellectual property of BOQ Estimations until payment is received in full; the client then receives usage rights for their specific project.
  • Copying, reselling, or using deliverables on any other project is not permitted without prior written consent.

Software & Tools

  • We use industry-standard estimating and takeoff platforms — including Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and CostX — to ensure precision, clarity, and compatibility with your workflows.

Revisions Policy

  • Minor revisions for quantifiable errors or clarifications are free of charge when requested within 5 business days of delivery.
  • Major changes (such as plan revisions or scope additions) may require a new quote or a revision fee.

Limitation of Liability

  • BOQ Estimations shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect losses, missed bids, or consequential damages arising from the use of an estimate we provide.
  • Clients are responsible for reviewing all estimates prior to bid submission and confirming final pricing against actual quotes from vendors and subcontractors.

Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
